Don’t worry – you don’t actually have to use Meyer lemons for this cocktail if you can’t find them. I always scoop them up when I can find them because it’s a cross between a regular lemon and an orange. Either one you go with is delish with the blueberries!
Small handful fresh blueberries (about 10)
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar or regular granulated sugar
Juice from ½ of a fresh Meyer Lemon or ¾ ounce of regular lemon juice
1 ounce vodka
½ ounce limoncello
Muddle the blueberries with the sugar in a cocktail shaker. Add other ingredients and ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass using a julep strainer. Serve in a martini glass rimmed with sugar.
